Artist Beth Budesheim
My creative work is not only a means of self expression but also discovery, sacred journey and wisdom. A painting, for me, is a living, breathing, communicating creation. My hope is for those drawn to my work, to enjoy, experience and benefit in some way not only from the imagery, but the more subtle vibrational information that dances with, informs and nurtures the soul.
Creating, for me, is a practice in flowing with an alchemy of vibrations, colors, symbols, light, intuitive trust and Spirit. Immersing myself in this process and allowing the painting to organically unfold, not only brings me joy & a feeling of intimate connection to the sacred divine but the painting feels as if it becomes something greater than ‘me’ ; it becomes a source that benefits the body, mind, heart and soul. Currently, I am exploring incorporating crystals, essentials oils, & sound within the painting process, as well as creating guided meditations and teaching.

"Magic
is changing nothing into something, one thing to another,
an idea into action or form. Changing a piece of clay from
the body of Mother Earth into a form that touches th eheart
of a stranger is Magic. If you look for Magic to be unusual
or bigger than yourself, you may never realize how very
near it is! It is your heartbeat, your breath, your voice,
and especially the earth below your feet."
Artist
Susan Seddon Boulet
A
classic goddess, native american and feminine power artist,
Susan offers us powerful treasures to enjoy. Susan, who
passed away in 1997, loved other cultures' spiritual traditions
and customs.
Her art touched people
in a profound way. Her early work was clearly a light hearted
and simpler approach to content than later work. It was
almost medieval in quality with golden clothed maidens,
prancing unicorns, bearded Merlins and many a strange beastie
appearing in rainbow bright colors. She tried lithography,
pen and ink, colored pencil but eventually settled on oil
pastel as being her favorite medium.
In her travels, she learned
much about the shamans of Lapland and America. All that
she heard and learned was transformed into images that appeared,
as if by magic, on her blank sheets of art board.
Artist
Joanna Powell Colbert
"One of the true pioneers and leaders of the Goddess
movement." Joanna Powell Colbert is an artist and writer
known internationally for her Goddess portraits and mythic
art. Her artwork and writing appears regularly in the magazines
SageWoman and PanGaia as well as many other alternative
publications. In 1992 she helped revive The Beltane Papers,
and served as its Managing Editor for four years, co-creating
the magazine with Helen Farias, Waverly Fitzgerald and a
wildly creative collective of women. Joanna has taught classes
on the Goddess, Tarot and earth-centered spirituality in
the Northwest since 1991.
Artist Rosemary Conroy
After September 11, 2001, Rosemary decided life was too short to wait any longer to fulfill her life-long dream of being an artist. She left her job as communications director for the Society for the Protection of NH Forests to begin painting seriously. It wasn’t the first time she’d remade her career — Conroy had worked in the World Trade Center for a large brokerage firm for six years back in the 1980s...
Rosemary Conroy is a wildlife painter, freelance-writer and naturalist living on a small farm and wild bird sanctuary in Weare, NH. While gaining acclaim as a professional artist, Rosemary is also well known for her work as co-host and writer for New Hampshire Public Radio’s weekly “Something Wild” nature spots.
Primarily a self-taught artist, Rosemary is a juried member of the N.H. Art Association, the N.H. Chapter of the Women’s Caucus for the Arts, and the Oil Painters of America.

The mist-covered valley in which I live is a nourishing
green womb that provides the fertile space and silence conducive
to dreaming and creativity. My work reflects the changing
seasons as they circle by, the dance of light and shadow,
the spiralling rhythm of going within and of reaching out,
the movement of energy thru and around the body... all swirling
melodies contained within the deep stillness of Knowing.
With thankfulness, I follow my heart's path, to create paintings
that express my vision of Spirit.
Artist
Suzanne Cheryl Gardner
Suzanne's
fresh, whimsical, childlike, brightly colored tempera paintings
reflect her inner emotions. Her paintings sometimes reflect
her shadow, but she believes, 'The key to transforming
the dark is to accept it fully as being ok. That 'change
of perspective' will allow you to see it as the light it
really is.'. Her enlightened paintings and illustrations
also make use of colored pencils, design markers, and black
ink markers that will uplift friends and family. Graphic
Design has been Suzanne's main focus for the past 25 years.
She has a solid knowledge of the print industry and the
business world. Her heart has directed her to share her
gift of creating brightly colored pieces that help to heal
and soothe fellow souls on this planet.
Artist
Melissa Harris
"I
am always interested in the essence of any particular person,
situation, landscape or even conversation. A "bottom
line" person you might say. And of course the animal
kingdom. A few years ago I did a life size series of butterflies!
I have also enjoyed doing watercolors "on site"
in many sacred places throughout Mexico, Bali, and Cornwall,
England. In fact, that is how I really come to know a person
or place--by experiencing it through my painting.

Francene Hart
"Life
is magical and also impermanent. Listening to the voices
of nature helped me find my own artistic voice. The trees
and animals, the water and rocks, sun and wind, moon and
stars all speak clearly if we take time to listen. I seek
to honor this connection by creating works of art that celebrate
these experiences of nature's wisdom."
Artist
Rita Loyd
"My
Goal for my art and writing, is to nurture spiritual wholeness
by reminding myself and others to compassionately look inward
with gentleness and non-judgment; exploring and examining
self beliefs and perceptions of life in order to dissolve
the blocks that prevent us from living in a space of self
love and self appreciation. As this nurturing place of self
love and appreciation expands within us, so does our ability
to love and nurture other living beings in a more authentic
way."
Artist and Sculptor Change Parker
My
name is Change Unitè Parker. The name Change was received
from God in 1973. Today I am a 54 year old man, husband,
father and artist living in central New Hampshire. A self-taught
sculptor of natural and historic forms and energies.
My sculpture, and other art is inspired
by natural and found objects that reveal the dynamic forces
and interconnected life of Earth, Nature and Human Beings.By
uncovering and releasing the spirit and beauty of growth
rhythms and cycles, and revealing the harmony and power
of elemental forms and life processes, my sculptural purpose
is a healing and educational one.
My relationship with Nature has been
and is profoundly emotional, intuitive and spiritual. Thus,
the Sculptures of Change arise through my spirit and nature,
and express themselves in physical, visceral, psychological,
heartful and sacred ways. The sculptural art forms are imaginal
and metaphorical. They speak with ancient voices. Sexuality
and sensuality intertwine in an ancient ritual dance between
Nature, and Spirit and the GodSelf.

Artist Anne Deidre Smith
Most of my images come from within. When I am able to translate feelings like despair or pain into an image of Hope, Faith or Love, that is one of the many joys of painting. My hope is that you would find these images to be timeless in feeling and express universal themes that you can identify with.

Medicine Be Yours!
As wind blows through the hearts of the trees they sing,
dance deep in their roots, become stronger and give the
breath of life. Trees offer their give away for paper, for
our homes, for heat, and musical instruments. It is my honor
to offer the breath of life back to the trees, and to you,
as I play my flutes, drum and dulcimer from my heart and
naturally complete the circle of the giveaway.
Artist
and Illustrator Kris Waldherr
Kris
Waldherr has illustrated and written several well-received
picture books. Her most recent, Persephone and the Pomegranate,
was priased by The New York Times Book Review for its 'quality
of myth and magic' and by Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D., author
of Goddesses in Everywoman, as 'a beautifully done retelling
of the major mother-daughter myth.'
Kris's strong interest
in mythology and folklore, especially women's myths, led
to the extensive research which became The Book of Goddesses.
Kris was born in West Haverstraw, New York, and received
her bachelor of fine arts degree from the School of Visual
Arts in New York City. She lived in Devon, England, while
working on the paintings of her first book, Rapunzel, retold
by Amy Ehrlich. Kris now lives in New York City. Her artwork
has been shown throughout the U.S. and Great Britain.
Artist
Marilyn Wyzga
Marilyn is both a professional artist and teaching naturalist. "One of my first owl illustrations was a commission for a barred owl drawing. At the time I was living in a cabin in the woods. My drawing table had a view out to the pines from a second floor window. One day, while the snow was falling, a barred owl showed up and perched just outside my window! It hung around for several days after. Ever since then, owls of one kind and another have simply shown up in my paintings, even when I don't set out to paint one."
