Self-expression
is a valuable tool when a girl is becoming a woman.
This web site is meant to offer a forum for discovery and development
for girls ages 7 to 102. The content and writings span a wide range
of beliefs, ideas, and concepts common to the human race. It is
not our intention to promote any belief system,
We want to offer
'a thoughtful spot' to girls where they can share their ideas,
read a fairy tale, ponder about their meanings, and ultimately
be comfortable expressing themselves and who they are.

doctrine or activity. We welcome parents and
guardians to join their daughters in exploring this web site.
Garden Plum supports the girl
and the emerging woman. Please feel free to express any concerns
you may have as to the content of this site to the head plum at

All opinions are appreciated
and will be gratefully considered.

Wendy J. Stevens
Owner & Entreprenuer
'not your typical dot.com'
Garden Plum Enterprises was founded by Wendy J. Stevens
on October 1st, 2001. With the goal of creating a 'resting
spot' for women, and a 'thoughtful spot' for girls, we hope
to bring a real experience to users as opposed to yet another
flashing, blinking, mass marketed page that makes our brains
go numb.
After
nearly a decade of working for dot.coms,
and confronting women's issues head-on in the man's tech
world (she is blonde!), Wendy decided that it was time to
utilize the Internet for a 'good' cause. The entire web
site is created in an effort to promote positive energy
to both women and girls. Wendy has her bachelor's degree
in Business Management and has been working in the high
tech internet sector for 8 years.
Wendy currently lives in Weare, NH with
her husband, son and her chocolate lab Weavie. She enjoys
beautiful artwork, reading and collecting fairy tale books,
and storytelling. View her on-line
portfolio.
Wendy's
favorite gp product is 'The Meadow in My Heart'. She refuses
to blot pink out of her pallette, it has the perfect amount
of femininity in her opinion.
E-mail Wendy.
