Horse Cribbing
A person holds their breath, letting it out as if it were under pressures, like steam from a teapot...Agrimony people often hold the breath due to pain somewhere else in the body. Horses so often do this that it has a name, "cribbing," and is sometimes considered a serious problem. It is a natural way to get a release of endorphins (natural painkillers) from the brain.

According to Matthew Wood's
The Book of Herbal Wisdom
"Over the years I have used it so frequently, with so much success, that I now include it among the top three of four most important medicines in my practice...Agrimony is about as tense a plant as you will ever see in our American woodlands...it looks like a cat sticking its paw into an electric socket...the Agrimonia patient revolves around tension, frustration, anger, and inner torment. The person feels "caught in a bind," as if he or she is in the wrong place at the wrong time...Often the problem revolves around the work situation...this mental tension builds to such proportions that the patient feels tortured. Instead of manifesting this tension outwardly...the patient hides their feelings behind a facade..."
